MatrixNL available via Telegram

MatrixNL has recently become available in two ways via the popular Telegram app.

Highway Incidents

All incidents occurring on Rijkswaterstaat roads can also be received via Telegram. To do so, go to t.me/snelwegincidenten. Immediately after clicking, you will be taken to our channel where you will receive real-time incident reports on national highways and the corresponding expiration messages when the incident is resolved.

MatrixAlert

Do you want real-time information on specific sections when a lane or highway is closed? You can now do that by using the MatrixAlert bot on Telegram. After setting up the bot, MatrixAlert immediately displays lane or highway closures. Setting it up is very quick and easy. Below you will find a detailed explanation:

  1. Go directly to our bot on Telegram (or click here) and click Start at the bottom.
  2. Click or type /choose and then choose the route you want to receive notifications for. Immediately after selecting, all notifications for the entire route will be displayed for this road.
  3. Would you prefer notifications only for routes within specific kilometer markers? That's possible too! Click or type /range . For example: /range A4 R 40-78. Please note that you must do this separately for the R and L directions. You do not need to do this for other letters (u, x, y, etc.). These will be automatically included in R and L.
  4. Congratulations! The bot is now fully configured. Use /help for more information.
